Dedicated hosting servers
Dedicated server hosting means to purchase a full web server from a type of dedicated hosting providers.
Dedicated are the server which is accessible by only one company and not shared by any other.
Dedicated server is the server is only dedicated to you and having fully under control of a owner.
Dedicated servers are mainly of two types : Managed hosting server and unmanaged servers.
In unmanaged hosting dedicated servers the owner are fully responsible of server security, operation, data manage and all other functions.
In managed hosting dedicated servers the company from where you purchase the servers provide full assistance regarding all the issues related to servers and provide high security.
Managed dedicated hosting servers are mainly designed for the people who are less technical and want to better manages their servers for which they also been assisted by server providers.
The dedicated servers are mainly for large business purposes for various purposes. Dedicated servers mainly provide good customer services of the hosting providers.
Database design
Databases of all kinds pervade almost every business. All kinds of data, from emails and contact information to financial data and records of sales, are stored in some form of a database. What we need is a meaningful storage of less-structured information. One of the most powerful tools computers give us is the ability to store and search data. Early applications stored data for programs in files and used indexes to search the files for particular bits of data. These programs didn't fare very well on networks because there are problems with more than one computer trying to update data in a file simultaneously. MS-ACCESS MS Access 2003 for windows is a data base management system which helps us to manage the data stored in a computer data base MS Access 2003 is a DBMS package. It is one of the products of the MS Office 2003. This package is used for building data base application.
Data Flow Diagrams (DFD
A DFD, also known as a 'bubble chart', serves the purpose of clarifying system requirements and identifying major transformations that will become programs in system design. So it is the starting point of the design phase that functionally decomposes the requirement specifications down to the lowest level of detail. A DFD consists of a series of bubbles joined by lines. The bubbles represent data transformations and lines represent data flows in the system. A basic DFD format is shown in Figure 16. The DFD is a representation of various processes and the input and output in each process. Further it also represents the various data stores.
